Free Burma Rangers (Free The Oppresssed)

You will be inspired by the movie "Free Burma Rangers".  The Free Burma Rangers (FBR) is a multi-ethnic humanitarian service movement working to bring help, hope and love to people in the conflict zones of Burma, Iraq, and Sudan. Working in conjunction with local ethnic pro-democracy groups, FBR trains, supplies, and later coordinates with what become highly mobile multipurpose relief teams. After training these teams provide critical emergency medical care, shelter, food, clothing and human rights documentation in their home regions.

Glad World (Joel & Laci Hill)

After the outbreak of Covid in 2019 & the subsequent military coup in 2021, a whole generation of children in parts of Myanmar are not receiving an education. As a result of the war, many parts of Myanmar have become some of the most volatile and unsafe places to live on the planet.

Their heart is to invest in changing this situation in Myanmar by helping children to receive an invaluable education, healthy meals and basic living essentials— so that they can be better equipped for a secure life away from war, and become change-makers in Myanmar’s future.

Future Builders is a new initiative within Glad World. Together with local communities and organizations, we are paying the salaries of teachers and providing essential supplies and balanced meals for children who are growing up in civil war.

Life Impact International (Lana Vasquez)

The first government-recognized safe home on the Thai/Myanmar border. Members of the Official Child Protection Committee.

Rescues happen in many different ways. Deploying teams into poverty and drug-infested areas where traffickers prey on the desperation of families. When they find a child being exploited, they intervene either directly or through the local partners to get the child out of harm’s way and into a safe house.

Also part of a network with the head of social welfare, police, border control, hospitals, community leaders, and local NGOs who refer victims to them. No matter where the child comes from, their primary goal is to get them to safety and begin the process of recovery and heal

A world where everyone sees and hears at least one story of God’s power and goodness.

Why should the unbelievers mock us, saying, ‘Where is this God of yours?’ But we know our God rules from the heavens, and he takes delight in all that he does.” (Psalm 115:2-3)

“Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.” (Romans 15:21 / Isaiah 52:15)
